Even
without the clouds, the sky had gotten noticably darker, as you'll see
below.
Here's
one of my favourite pics I took that day. I didn't notice until I got them
back from the chemists' two birds circling the sun in the sky, made into a crescent
by the moon's shadow &partially obscured by the clouds. Though not
nearly as much as it was in the pics below.
Squeezed
and squashed where I was (none too nice when you've got your bike with
you, and certain people can't help but trip on the pedals!), I took these
two of the crowds surrounding me (the first at eye level, the second with
the camera held over my head for a better view).
